Community Focus

The committee works to implement the Five-Year Child Abuse Prevention and Adoption Promotion plan to prevent abuse and/or neglect and increase adoptions as well as other initiatives of the 5 year plan.

Research and Evaluation

The committee compiles data related to Seminole County’s children and families, determines missing information and creates a plan to collect it. The team also assists with the preparation of the Community Youth Mapping process and assists in the development and implementation of the evaluation plan, which includes plan for involvement in national and local evaluations.
